When you integrate your Google accounts such as Gmail and Google Calendar, Clay is able to see the emails you're interacting with, but we don't have permission to pull additional info from Google Contacts. Additionally, Google Contacts oftentimes has faulty data that would make Clay more cluttered and inaccurate.
Another reason is since email formats vary widely, our system can't automatically determine which parts might be first or last names. For example, someone could have smith.jones@gmail.com as an email address and the system wouldn't know which one is the first and last name.
With that being said, if you export your Google Contacts as a CSV or V-card file, you may manually upload it into Clay using our CSV uploader.
